Turkisch Raisins

Overall, the 2021 crop continues to progress well. With the rise of air temperatures in April, following the first leaves in the awakening vineyards, the cluster forms began developing. This year’s awakenings are expected to be better and healthier than last year’s, therefore it is likely that we may see a higher crop volume this year.

This year, the vineyard pruning operations were carried out in a later period compared to previous years by most of the growers. Since the late pruned vineyards awaken later, they suffered less damage by the frost events which were experienced in March and April. Only minor regional damages are being expected.
